Urban Talks is one of the featured programs of Jakarta Future Festival 2026, serving as a panel discussion forum that brings together diverse urban stakeholders to address Jakarta’s strategic issues. Carrying the theme "AI in The System": Enhancing the Quality of Jakarta's Public Services, this discussion explores how digital transformation, particularly the integration of artificial intelligence, can fundamentally reshape and accelerate the way cities design and deliver public services. In alignment with Jakarta’s direction under the RPJMD DKI Jakarta 2025–2029, the city prioritizes the realization of modern city management and services through the acceleration of digital transformation and technology-based service delivery. This includes leveraging digital technologies to enhance service quality and advancing the development of integrated electronic-based governance architecture (SPBE). At the same time, efforts to expand digital access remain essential to ensure inclusivity. The transformation also extends to improving complaint-handling mechanisms and streamlining licensing processes through automation and risk-based approaches. Moving forward, the ability to embed intelligence into public systems will be key in shaping Jakarta as a digitally enabled and future-ready global city.
